Celebrating Arts, Culture & Inclusivity in Somerset
After 5 incredible years (2015- 2019) organising Taunton Live Arts Festival, Go Create Taunton CIC are busy putting plans together for an exciting Taunton Live Arts Fringe. This will take place throughout Taunton during the summer months of June, July and August 2021. This will include Taunton Live & Pride Free Festival Day in Goodlands Gardens, The Brewhouse Theatre, Mambo & ciccic on the Saturday 17th July 2021.
Our ‘Taunton Live & Pride’ Festival day will have multiple Music & Performance Venues, Dance and Outdoor Arts. a Literary area in The Brewhouse Live-Streamed, Artists running workshops and selling artwork, a Wellbeing area co-ordinated by The Sangha House, Awareness Stalls & Food from around the World.
MAMBO STAGE
From 12-6pm we have an incredible line-up of local musical talent in store for you all. Hosted by the fabulous Arina Fox. Wristband entry only, or view from home via the Live-Streaming link.
From 6-11pm Mambo will reopen to the public (no tickets need, first come first served). Hosted by the fabulous Misty Monique. Follow our social media channels for further info.
In Goodlands Gardens
Goodlands Gardens will burst into life between 12-5pm with outdoor arts, site specific art installations, theatre performances and storytelling. We will have free creative workshops, craft and awareness stalls, food and more! Wristbands will gain you entrance and if we have capacity on the day you can register then and there.
CICCIC STAGE
From 1-9 pm, Creative Innovation Centre (ciccic) our stage line-up will be hosted by the fabulous Virina Flower. Tickets only, released via ciccic website.
For 2021 Go Create will be putting on some really exciting projects throughout the summer:
Local businesses windows will be transformed in our ‘LoveWINdowS’ Trail, this offers a mutually beneficial partnership for the artist and business gaining increased footfall from festival trail followers.
‘Follow Your Heart’ Trail around Town with the beautiful large fibreglass hearts decorated by Local Artists and Community Groups.
The Taunton Yarnbombing Trail will take place during June, July and August with an incredible display of woollen creations centred around our theme ‘Love Wins’.
The Rainbow Pathway in Goodlands Gardens.
Comedy Events by Genius PR & Events including their much loved Stand Up for Cider Finals.
Poetry and Spoken Word Events will be showcased as well as storytelling and creative writing workshops.
The Community Arts Exhibition at Taunton Library will take place in August and will showcase artwork created by local community groups, this exhibition is organised by Go Create who work alongside local Charities and Community Groups within ‘Community Arts projects’, welcoming collaborations on all levels and abilities.

Taunton Live is organised by GoCreate Taunton, a Community Interest Company based in Taunton Deane whose members are creative practitioners.
