The Jemima Layzell Trust are delighted to be co-ordinating the literary area for Taunton Live 2018.
We have a mix of authors, all local who are coming to share their work to bring a fab mix of FREE entertainment.
Find us throughout the day, in conversation with authors, listening to extracts and generally exploring their talent and what inspires them.
Keep a look out for our pop up poetry wall run by James Crowden…he’ll be out there, somewhere in Goodlands Gardens. We would love you to add a line or two to ‘When Worlds Collide’.
This is the overall theme for Taunton Live this year and fits in very well with the JLTrusts campaign for organ donation. When Jemima donated 8 of her organs, both her and our world collided with 8 other strangers that now links us together in the most incredible way.
If you can’t make one of the talks don’t worry, the Tangier Scout hut will be open all day, selling the authors books and if you are lucky a few of them will be around in person for your questions and signings.
Booking for talks is essential as numbers are limited but the book shop is open all day.
